Highlight text on a webpage and ask Doubao or DeepSeek to explain it.

Download and extract
Download the ZIP and extract it into a permanent folder. Keep the folder after installation.

Load in Chrome
Enter chrome://extensions in Chrome’s address bar, turn on Developer mode, choose Load unpacked and select the folder containing manifest.json.

Confirm that 划懂 · 网页会话桥 is enabled, refresh this page and try the sample below. Sign in to your selected model website when prompted.
Installed? Try a highlight
Select the sentence below, right-click and choose “用划懂解释”. The extension currently uses Chinese menu labels.
Compound interest means that interest earned also earns interest in later periods.

Having trouble installing?
Keep Developer mode on and keep the extracted folder. To update, replace its contents with the new ZIP and click Reload in chrome://extensions. For Mac shortcuts, install and launch Huadong, then use Repair connection in its settings. Remove duplicate copies of this extension. Managed devices may prohibit manual installation.

Set up the Mac app in three steps.
Install and launch
Open the DMG, drag 划懂 into Applications and launch it. Requires Apple silicon and macOS 13+. This beta is not Apple-notarized. If blocked, verify the source and use Open Anyway in System Settings → Privacy & Security.
Grant access and configure
Enable 划懂 in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility. For web sessions, install the extension below and sign in to a provider. For the API overlay, enter and save the selected provider’s API key.
Highlight and explain
Select text and press ⌥⌘E. If web mode reports a disconnected extension, choose Repair connection in app settings. Quit the previous app before upgrading to avoid shortcut conflicts.
